Art has always been more than a hobby for me—it is a quiet, soothing space where my mind finds balance and my heart finds joy. Alongside my journey as a teacher, painting and crafting have grown into my deepest passions. No matter how hectic the day becomes, I make it a point to carve out a little time for art, because it is in those moments that I feel most connected to myself.
The artwork you see here is an example of texture painting, a form of 3D raised art created using a special paste. This technique adds depth and dimension to the canvas, allowing the flowers to almost bloom off the surface. Each stroke is a blend of patience and creativity, and each layer of texture brings the painting closer to life.

I love exploring different art forms—whether it’s textured art, sculpture, decoupage, or watercolor—because every medium has its own voice. And every piece I create becomes a small conversation between my imagination and the world around me.
For me, art is a soulful therapy. It rejuvenates, repairs, and refreshes the spirit in ways words often cannot. I encourage every student to find something creative they enjoy, because the simple act of making something with your hands can bring immense peace.
In the classroom and beyond, I hope to inspire young minds to discover the joy, beauty, and healing that art brings. After all, creativity isn’t just about making art—it’s about finding yourself through it.
