If there is anything that years in a kindergarten classroom have taught me, it is this: children may be small, but their hearts, imaginations, and courage are wonderfully big. Kindergarten isn’t just a class ……. it’s a world of wonder. Here, friendships bloom over shared crayons, problems are solved with hugs, and victories are celebrated with jumping, clapping, and sometimes even unexpected dance moves.

But when it comes to teamwork, nothing tests us quite like our KG1 Annual Day.

Each Annual Day feels like a small miracle in the making. Dozens of tiny tots rehearse – with lost shoes, mixed-up props, endless giggles, and the shortest attention spans. Teachers practise the steps first, then teach them with fingers crossed, hoping the little ones won’t forget everything the moment they see the audience.

This year our little ones truly brought the movie “Sholay to life! They danced with such ease it felt like they were rehearsing for a Bollywood debut. And while we teachers were stressing about steps, cues, and props, our tiny stars were focused on the “real” priorities:

“Ma’am, is my lipstick still there?”
“Ma’am, my moustache is straight, right?”

Not a single step missed, not a single line forgotten -just pure confidence wrapped in cuteness. All the hard work, rehearsals, and chaos finally came alive on stage… and what a joyful ending it was- a perfect blend of giggles, glam, and a whole lot of Sholay magic.

And in that glowing moment of applause and pride, our principal ma’am reminds us of the truth that guides every step we take as educators:
“Children are unstoppable when they believe in themselves.”

A perfect moral to carry forward—because in the hands of children, even rehearsed moments turn into miracles, and every performance becomes a lesson in courage, joy, and limitless possibility.
