Marvellous Journey begins: The day when our son was born was the day when we mother/father was also born. Becoming parents is a journey that reshapes our – heart, understanding of love, and priorities. Parenthood is the only job where your BOSS is “TWO-FEET TALL” who demands a new thing every ten minutes and negotiates like a “SEASONED LAWYER”.
Ahhh, hopeful and heartened journey starts when the child starts growing. As our child grew, we as parents grew with him too, re-living our own childhood days!!! This was the most exciting phase “TODDLER” , yeah literally a roller coaster phase. Every “NO” from us would have a rolling and crying floor performance which was never less than “WORTHY BEST ACTOR” award .
Hesitant and amidst a tough phase where a lot of things was happening around us and, in the world, due to the haunting COVID, we started looking out for a school and we decided on DPS Sharjah as it is one of the most successful and famed institution.
As it was COVID time, we chose online classes initially for KG1 and then moved onto HYBRID during KG2. Be it the teachers, school staff, they were all very supportive enough during this tough phase.
Delighted up for the first Graduation Ceremony of our son, we as parents were equally excited to attend this event after COVID much like our children. That walk of theirs with their teachers, we had our tears rolling to see our son graduate and moving onto the Primary Grades.
Honed phase started with Grade 1 and Grade 2 being more specific with different subjects. We as parents were excited to be a part of FAB day, PTM with teachers to understand and equally involve ourselves along with the teachers to help our child in the new phase. Currently in Grade 3, with different subjects, subject teachers and along with the Periodic Tests we are gradually moving on to a systematic learning process to upscale academic, communication skills and other extra-curricular activities.
Yalla.. every year has been a journey with different experiences, learning – for not only our kid but to us too as parents.
Unfeigned gratitude towards all the teachers, staff, bus management for their constant support towards each kid in the school that makes our job as parents much easier.
This is a beautiful journey in progress, as we parents learn to celebrate and find joy even in the smallest of ordinary things.
Hopeful, Heartwarming, Harmonious journey of we as parents to not control them but to nurture confidence, kindness and to be a good human being in the world we live. Proud to be the parents of ‘MAHADHYUTH’.
