في صباح مزدحم ككل صباح، دخلت الصف وأنا أستعد لشرح درس القراءة.
لكن منذ اللحظة الأولى شعرت أن شيئًا ما مختلف…
الوجوه كانت هادئة أكثر من المعتاد، والعيون تائهة بين النافذة والدفاتر. بدا لي أن اهتمام الطلاب في أدنى مستوياته.
تردّدت قليلًا، ثم قلت لنفسي: “لماذا لا أغيّر شيئًا بسيطًا؟”
اقتربت من أحدهم وسألته بابتسامة:
“ما رأيكم أن نجرب طريقة جديدة اليوم؟”
طلبت من كل طالب أن يقرأ جملة ويعبّر عنها بحركة أو تمثيل صغير — كأننا نعيش القصة معًا بدل أن نقرأها فقط.
وفجأة تغيّر كل شيء!
امتلأ الصف بالضحك والحماس، وبدأ الجميع يشارك حتى أولئك الذين نادرًا ما يتحدثون.
تحوّل الدرس من قراءة جامدة إلى لحظات مليئة بالمرح والإبداع.
وفي نهاية الحصة، قال أحد الطلاب بابتسامة واسعة:
“أستاذة، اليوم ما شعرت أني أقرأ… بل شعرت أني داخل القصة!”
تلك الجملة كانت كفيلة بأن تذكّرني لماذا أحب هذه المهنة.
أحيانًا لا نحتاج إلى خطة جديدة، فقط قلب يصغي وفكرة صغيرة تغيّر كل شيء.

It was a busy morning, just like any other. I entered the classroom, ready to start the reading lesson.
But from the very first moment, I felt that something was different…
The faces were calmer than usual, and the eyes were wandering between the window and the notebooks. It seemed that the students’ attention was at its lowest.
I hesitated for a moment, then said to myself, “Why not change something small?”
I approached one of them with a smile and asked:
“How about we try a new way today?”
I asked each student to read a sentence and express it through a small movement or act — as if we were living the story instead of just reading it.
And suddenly, everything changed!
The classroom filled with laughter and excitement, and everyone started participating — even those who rarely spoke.
The lesson transformed from a dry reading session into moments full of fun and creativity.
At the end of the class, one student smiled and said:
“Teacher, today I didn’t feel like I was reading… I felt like I was inside the story!”
That single sentence was enough to remind me why I love this profession.
Sometimes, we don’t need a new plan — just a listening heart and a small idea that can change everything.
