My journey at Delhi Private School Sharjah over the past 24 years has been one filled with learning, growth, dedication, and countless beautiful memories. What began as a profession gradually became my passion, purpose, and second home.

My journey began under the inspiring leadership of Ms. Abha Sehgal, who appointed me as an assistant teacher to Ms Sheeba Naqvi. I still vividly remember my very first day at school when Ms. Sheeba had to attend a meeting and confidently left the class in my hands, trusting that I would be able to deliver my best. That moment became the foundation of my confidence as a teacher. At that time, teachers were not trained or guided the way they are today, yet my abilities and potential were recognised and trusted completely. That trust motivated me to learn, grow, and become stronger with every passing year.

As a teacher, I had the privilege of shaping young minds, nurturing confidence, and creating a classroom where children felt safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Every child who walked into my classroom brought with them a new story, a new challenge, and a new opportunity for me to grow as an educator.

Over the years, I had the opportunity to work alongside many wonderful educators. Each colleague till today added warmth, support, learning, and unforgettable memories to my journey.

Education evolved over the years, teaching methods transformed, and classrooms became more dynamic and technology driven. Through every change, I embraced learning with an open mind and adapted myself to meet the needs of every generation of learners. From chalkboards to smartboards, from traditional teaching to student-led learning, this journey taught me that a teacher never truly stops learning.

My years at DPS Sharjah not only strengthened me professionally but also enriched me personally. The support of my colleagues, the trust of parents, and the love of my students became the greatest rewards of my career. Every annual day, classroom activity, school event, and small achievement of my students added a special chapter to this memorable journey.

Today, as time has eventually come for me to say goodbye to this amazing family, my heart is filled with gratitude and emotions. Though I may move on from this chapter, the memories, relationships, and unconditional support I received from this family will always remain close to my heart.

Teaching has never been just a job for me—it has been a journey of touching lives, building futures, and leaving a little piece of my heart in every classroom.
