Since I have two children studying at Delhi Private School Sharjah, I can clearly see how the school has molded and groomed their personalities. Along with the school, I believe that my own efforts in parenting them beyond expected norms have contributed to making them the children they are today. In the beginning, all I wished for was to see them perform well academically, but I have seen them grow in dimensions beyond my wildest dreams.
Delhi Private School Sharjah has undoubtedly given my children a platform where they are encouraged to discover their talents in sports, arts, public speaking, academics, and so much more. It is encouraging to see that each child is given the opportunity to try their luck in every domain without the fear of failure, and it is through these efforts that my once shy and reticent children have found a way to realize their own potential, as well as their areas of strength and interest. It is through the constant guidance of the teachers that they have found confidence in their own abilities and are now more prepared to face the future.
Competitions and various events organized at school have added a great deal to my children’s personality development and have provided them with immense opportunities to learn discipline, teamwork, and positive reinforcement in times of success, as well as maintain a positive outlook in times of failure. The school has made my children well-disciplined and focused, and they understand that failure does not mean defeat.
As a parent, I have supported them at home in my own way and have encouraged them to explore all possible avenues without fearing failure. I have appreciated their efforts rather than just their success, remained consistent in my encouragement, and helped them pursue their dreams with sustained effort, patience, understanding, and gentle guidance. I have also given them the space to learn independently and develop into children beyond my expectations, while staying true to their own capabilities — and both are equally satisfying in this regard.
Indeed, my children are growing into responsible and determined individuals. This growth is not only due to the opportunities the school has provided them, but also because of the encouragement and support they have received at home. Together, these have contributed to their positive academic and co-curricular performance and helped them become balanced personalities. As a mother, this journey of watching them grow and unfold will always remain the most fulfilling experience of my life.
